Match Review: AC Milan vs AS Roma

What a match! From minute 1 to minute 90'+'5', the Rossoneri's season debut at San Siro was full of excitement. A very intense performance rewarded at the last kick with a winning goal scored by Patrick Cutrone. This way AC Milan defeat AS Roma 2-1 on Serie A Matchday 3. Coach Gattuso had asked his boys to bounce back after last week's bitter defeat and to stay fully focused for all 95 minutes. Said and done. Il Diavolo never stopped believing, pushed forward until the end and sealed a precious victory against a direct opponent. Kessie was the man to lead the way by opening the score in the 40' after a fine cross by Rodriguez. Curiously, Franck has scored 5 of his 12 Serie A goals in August. The lesson against Napoli was learned. After conceding a goal in the second half (Fazio in 59'), the boys didn't back down and even found the lead but Higuain's goal was disallowed. The Argentinean was key during the match and made a new opportunity count ot decide the game. El Pipita showed all his experience when making a perfect assist Patrick at the last gasp. Suffered but deserved. The first clash at San Siro ends in the first victory of the season. Let's keep it up, Rossoneri!
