Match Review: AC Milan vs Chievo Verona

With the eighth matchday of Serie A, AC Milan win the third consecutive game in a week, beating Chievo 3-1. Job done for the Rossoneri in front of almost 50.000 fans at the San Siro who showed their superiority against the struggling opponents in the championship. The performance was excellent from a solid team all round. The attack was very concrete, furnished with goals Higuain, with his first brace at San Siro, Suso's assists and Bonaventura's goal. The defence hardly ever suffered but - and this is the only negative note of the afternoon - they have not yet managed to keep a clean sheet, with Pellissier's second-half goal. So Coach Gattuso's men head into the break in the best way possible, before the derby, taking three more points home and climbing to 12, just 2 points from a Champions League spot (with a game in hand).
